Welcome to the Beginner Box by Lottie and Albert! Perhaps you have always wanted to learn to crochet, but not been sure where to start. Or you learned when you were younger, and have been wanting to give it another go? Well welcome, because I’ve designed this box just for you! 

I’m a firm believer that learning is much more fun when you have a project that you really want to make. Practising crochet stitches might be useful, but making rows of stitches back and forth for hours can also be a little, well, boring… Instead, this box is designed around making a fun and practical item that you will cherish forever, and get to use... Everyone learns differently, so I always include a video as well as a pattern in my boxes. If you aren’t as familiar with patterns, it’s really useful to have both side by side as you work through the box. Plus I’ve also designed a special extra booklet for you, the Learn to Crochet booklet, which is a cheat sheet of common crochet terms and techniques which you will encounter alongside video tutorials and step by step diagrams.
