Inspired by the poppies designed by Karen Lewis in our Garden Festival pattern, a modern interpretation of the Ladies Work Society, membership officer, Carol, has designed an intermediate pattern that is as stylish as it is practical.

What you'll need:

  • 2 pieces outer fabric 9-inch-wide x 10 inch high
  • 2 pieces lining fabric - same dimensions as above
  • 2 pieces fusible craft fleece - same dimensions
  • Scraps of fabric for the poppies (e.g red)
  • Scraps of fabric for the leaves (e.g green)
  • Scraps of fabric or buttons for the centres (e.g black)
  • Bondaweb or similar fusible web
  • 12-inch zip
