Red Manor House Quilt Pattern
This gorgeous quilt featured as The Quilters' Guild's first block of the month project in 2019, with this stunning new interpretation design by Jenni Smith inspired by our wonderful Red Manor House Coverlet, part of The Quilters' Guild Museum Collection.
The project is to make an 80" square quilt, using a range of techniques, including appliqué, foundation paper piecing and precision piecing.
The making of each block is supported by 'how to' video guides and tutorials from some fantastic presenters, including Jenni Smith, Katy Jones and Jo Avery. This is a great project to sew, whatever your quilting ability. Makers can also adapt the motifs and make their quilt personal and unique to them if they wish.
The videos are all available on The Quilters' Guild YouTube channel - just have a look at our Red Manor House playlist.
Please ensure you have a pdf reader installed on your computer. You will also need to have access to a printer for the foundation paper piecing aspects of the pattern.
For fabrics, you may wish to buy one of our limited-edition Riley Blake fabric packs but you can use your up your stash or shop to your own tastes. See the image below for the quantities used in the instructions.
