Quilters' Guild Virtual Conference 2021 - Video Workshop with Carolyn Gibbs - 'Colour and contrast' (on demand content from 18/04/2021)
This is a Quilters' Guild member only workshop.
Choosing fabrics for a quilt is something that many people find challenging. They are not sure why the colours that looked good in the shop do not seem to give the result they hoped for. The key is to be able to use contrast as well as colour. If you would like to learn how to select fabrics that could work together in your quilts, join this online video workshop with Carolyn Gibbs. She will demonstrate how to identify the relative value of fabric samples, and how choosing different combinations can create different moods for your patchwork. You can pause the video and work along with Carolyn or watch and then experiment with the techniques with a selection from your own stash. The conference team, all experienced quilters, enjoyed this class and highly recommend it.
Please note: A link to watch this video workshop will be released on the day indicated but everyone who books a video workshop will have the content available for one month to enable them to work at their leisure. A requirements list will be sent to you once you have booked.
